I’m really glad to have been Andrea’s student. I have to thank her for teaching me how to take a great photo, to edit it nicely, and to develop my creativity in different ways in photography. Andrea has lots of ideas and she always teaches me how to think in a different way when I’m photographing something. I started to love photography, really enjoying it, and it became one of my favorite hobbies in my life. I learned a lot of photography with Andrea. She is very good at photography and I believe that she is a hard worker, a wonderful, talented and great teacher and a creative photographer. Thank you very much, Andrea.

Following my daughter Sihan’s words, I’d like to add my many thanks as well to Andrea for her great work as a photography teacher during the past fifteen months. Both of us are more than willing to continue the learning process, but due to an unpredictable move between cities, we have to end our time with her, for which we are sad and regretful. Andrea is a talented photographer, experienced and patient teacher. Above all, she is a devoted person who loves her career and her students. Under her instruction, my daughter gained an in-depth understanding of photography and learnt a lot of specific skills to take photos and edit them. Andrea has helped Sihan develop an artist eye when looking at the world, confidence in herself and a love and interest in photography. She also gave us a helping hand on choosing cameras and software and a lot of advice on how to define and develop a child’s future.

I came to Andrea through the recommendation of a friend. After a year with my first DSLR camera I felt I needed some private sessions to take it to the next level. Andrea tailored our sessions to my level of understanding of my camera & experience I had at that time. She made sure I understood how my camera worked & what it could do. After only one session I dramatically improved on my photos, with better composition and image sharpness. Each session was tailored to my interests & abilities & I improved as we went. We worked inside & out & went on to an impromptu field trip to focus on my passion of birds & wildlife. I look back on my best photos of 2014 & compare them to my current best images & am stunned & proud of how far I have come. I give Andrea all the credit for taking me there. I will continue to work with her to expand my abilities & would whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone wishing to go forward with their photographic skills no matter what level!

I first met Andrea a few years ago during a course she taught through one of the school boards. She is knowledgeable and understanding. She clearly explained the camera, how it works. She gave assignments of images to be taken, and then would critique them a week later. Andrea rekindled my desire to get out with my camera and take pictures.

During the summer of 2014, my wife and I spent a month in Africa, visiting Cape Town, Johannesburg, Kapama Game Reserve in the Kruger National Park, Botswana and the Chobe River for a river boat safari, and then to Zimbabwe to see the Victoria Falls.

Upon my return I called Andrea to set a one - on - one secession to enhance the images, which were shot in Raw format. Andrea gave me some tricks and showed me using Lightroom 5 how to better enhance the images. Andrea is knowledgeable with Lightroom and clearly explained the use of tools. I then spent time working on some 90 pictures I wanted to put in a book. After a number of frustrating hours trying to create my book, I asked Andrea for help. She spent a couple of hours with me showing the ins and outs of the template in Lightroom to create a book. She pointed me in the right direction, and I finished the book soon after.

I highly recommend Andrea to get you going with your photography adventure. She is knowledgeable, encouraging, and explains technical stuff in a language I understand.

I had been shooting for a couple of years and found that my images just didn't seem to be at the same caliber level of others whose work I admired. Andrea was able to diagnose my problems, provide me with detailed instructions on how to easily remedy the issues, and exercises to put into practice the lessons. After her professional instruction, my images were now the caliber which I was looking for.
